The TTRPG Collaboration Workbook is a short interactive zine with guidance and exercises to help organize your first collaborative TTRPG project. It contains insights from my work organizing folks on projects as diverse as founding intentional housing communities to creating online courses. Woven throughout are the learnings from leading Encounters in the Radiant Citadel, a ten-person collaborative D&D project that’s sold hundreds of copies on DMsGuild. Based on the Project Managing for TTRPG newsletter series, this worksheet-based zine will cover:

  • Choosing a collaborative project

  • Making a simple project plan

  • Reaching out to collaborators

  • Processes and tools for writing together collaboratively

Look out early 2024 for the Lead Your First Collaborative TTRPG Project Course on the Storytelling Collective.

The Format

This zine was originally part of the 2023 Big Bad Con Zinethology, with a limited print run for Big Bad Con supporters by the amazing folks at Tabletop Hotdish. It is a large zine: each page is 8.5 by 11 inches.

This is for a PDF version of the zine, though it can (and is meant) to be printed and journaled in.
